Welcome to Buddy. By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Buddy.
01Who can use Buddy
You must be at least 17 years old to use Buddy. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
02Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at cheangalang@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
03User content
You retain ownership of the posts, messages, photos and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the app.
You agree not to post content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account that violates these Terms.
04Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: (a) harass, threaten, or impersonate other users; (b) use the app for unlawful purposes; (c) attempt to access the app or its backend in any manner other than through the provided interface; (d) scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app’s operation.
05Moderation and reporting
Buddy provides in-app tools to report objectionable content, block other users, and delete your own content and account. We review reports and act on violations, typically within 24 hours. Our decisions are final.
06Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app; upon deletion, your personal data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
07Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app.
09Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence apply.
